Keep your neck and your hands warm

I looks like I can't stop knitting. *lol I just love it. It is so many great patterns to use, it is just to find out which one to use. This is my shawl number 8 this year. I have promised myself to knitt 10 shawls, and I will manage it. I have finished number 9, but it is not blocked yet.

Here is 5 more wristwarmers that I have knitted lately. I did participate at a christmas market at work, so I had to knitt something easy and knot so expencive.

I have also knittet two cowls. One is for my doughter, and the red one was for the market. The red one is intend to were as a cowl or you can also were a part of it on your head to avoid snow or rain in your hair.

Some knitting

I have done some knitting this month also. These projects were finished in October, but I had to get some pictures so that I could show you these. The shawl is knitted in Wollmeise, 100% merinowool. The color is Blue Bell. The picture is taken outside in the evening, so it is darker than in real.
This jacket is knitted in Alpaca. A very soft yarn, and it is ment to be a present.
This is a shawl for a child, and also a christmaspresent. It is also knitted in Alpaca,
with some wristwarmers that belogs to the shawl.

I have also used my sewing-machine this month, but I can't show you yet. Maby at the end of December. *lol

OPAM juni

It has been a long time since my last post. But that doesn't meen that I haven't done anything. I have been very busy with both handcraft and other things.

This month I bought myself a new cellphone, and had to make a new cellphonecase. The old one didn’t fit the new phone. The pattern is my own and I think it need some modification before it is perfect. Maby I should write it down and make a tutorial?

There has aslo been some knitting. In fact a lot since the weather has been so cold.

In fact I have knitted 5 pair of socks, one top and one tunika. I have also finished a shawl I started on in March. This one is for Christmas (because of the color) *smile.

Now it is summer here, and I will start my vacation soon. I hope you all will have a very nice July.

Nye sjal / New shawls

Jeg har fortsatt strikket en del, og sist ut er 2 nye sjal. Det ene skal være en presang, og det andre skal jeg ha selv. Det over er strikket i Wollmeise Twin og er mitt. :-) Det er strikket i str. L.

Det andre er strikket i Kauni 8/2 og er det som skal være en gebursdagspresang. Det er strikket i str. M, og egentlig en fin størrelse.

Begge sjalene er fra mønsteret Ulmus av Kirsten Kapur. (Ravelry-link) Da har jeg strikket 5 av 10 sjal for i år. Flotte presanger å ha på lur, og så har det vært mye raskere enn det jeg trodde når jeg meldte meg på 10 sjal i 2010 (Ravelry-gruppe).

I have knitted 2 more shawls. Both are from the pattern Ulmus by Kirsten Kapur. I found the pattern at Ravelry. Now I have knitted 5 of 10 shawls, which is the goal for 2010.

Sjalstrikking / Knitting shawls

Ja det går fortsatt i strikking. Var så moro å se at det minket på garnmengden, så jeg står fortsatt på for å få det redusert. Jeg har nå gjort ferdig 2 sjal. Et “My Valentine” som er et stort skjerf/stola. Det har medgått ca. 5 nøster Mirasol fra DSA til dette. Mønsteret har jeg funnet inne på Ravelry, og jeg ble veldig fornøyd med det.

Det andre er “Traveling woman”, også dette mønsteret fra Ravelry. Det er strikket i Mini Mochi fra Crystal Palace Yarn. Det er merinoull og nylon. Kan også brukes til sokker, og er utrolig mykt og deilig.

I have been knitting 2 more shawls. One is called “My Valentine” and the other is named “Traveling woman”. Both shawls are knitted with lace and the pattern are found at Ravelry. I used from my stash for the projects.

Et nytt sjal til meg selv. A new shawl for myself

Jeg har nettopp gjort ferdig dette sjalet. Det var ferdig strikket for et par uker siden, men det er utrolig hvor lang tid festing av tråder og blokking kan ta.

Sjalet er strikket i Baby Silk Alpakka fra Du store Alpakka og er strikket på pinner nr. 3,5.

Dette er mitt første sjal og jeg må si at jeg blei veldig fornøyd med det. Gleder meg til å ta det i bruk, mykt og deilig.

I have been knitting on this shawl since beginning of this month. It didn’t take so much time to knitt, but I used a couple of weeks to make it complete. I like it a lot, and it is very soft.
