Noah's Ark

Lynette Anderson har laget en BOM på nettsiden sin. Der vil det bli presentert tilsammen 12 små stitcherier som skal utgjøre en liten quilt til slutt. Besøk gjerne nettsiden hennes og bli med på dette. Det er små enkle arbeider.

Før jeg dro på ferie var det blitt presentert 4 måneder, og disse ble med meg som noe av mitt feriehåndarbeid. Da jeg kom hjem var den 5. måneden klar, og da var det bare å sy den med en gang.

Som kanter rundt har jeg benyttet rester fra dette teppet.Lynette Anderson has a free BOM going on her blog. She will during 12 months give you a pattern for a small stitchery, that all together is going to be a small quilt. Give her a visit, and join the BOM if you like.

Until now there has been released pattern for 5 months.

The fabric around the stitcheries is leftovers from this quilt.

Gratulerer med dagen/Happy birthday

Idag er Brynjar, min brors eldste sønn 13 år. Da hans søster hadde gebursdag i januar, fikk hun denne puten. Ved et par anledninger vet jeg at han har lånt denne når de har vært på biltur. Jeg spurte han tidligere i vår om han ønsket seg en egen pute. Ja, men ikke med engler på.

Jeg fant en tegning av en bil på nettet, og den passet perfekt. De har en slik VW-minibuss, og da hadde jeg det klart for meg hvordan puta måtte bli.

Today is Brynjar, my brothers oldest son 13 år. When his sister had birthday in January, she got this cusion. By some occations he has used this when they have been on trips. Last spring I asked him if he would like to have one himself. Yes, but not with angels on.

I found a drawing on internet of a car, and it was just perfect. His family have a car like this, and I knew then what the cusion had to look like.

Stinggleden juni og juli

I denne sommerferien har jeg fått gjort en del stitching. Blant annet har jeg fått gjort ferdig motivene for juni og juli i Stinggleden.Dette er junimotivet, og tegningen er laget av Toja. Et virkelig sommerlig motiv med sjø, sol og krabbe. Sørlandsidyll på sitt beste.

Dette er juli, og tegningen er laget av Britita. Det er et gammelt mønster som er tatt frem fra glemselen, og som jeg tror de fleste har satt veldig stor pris på.


In this holiday I have done a lot of stitching. Among these stitchings is the work for June and July in the Norwegian Stitching challange. I don't know what to call it in English, but there is a person who make a drawing every month. The other stitch it, and put it on their own blog. Then we have to make a link for it at the stitchingblog. This startet in January and will stop in December. Take a look at the blog, there is a lot of lovely work.

Nytt kjøkkensett.

I helga gjorde jeg ferdig dette kjøkkensettet. Det er helt enkelt sydd da stoffbitene ble et resultat av noe feilskjær. Da var det like godt å bruke det opp med en gang.

This weekend I finished some tableclothes for the kitchen. I had cut the fabric in wrong sizes, so I desided to use it right away.


Fargene er veldig fine, rett sommerlige. De passer godt på mitt kjøkken. Og så er det jo greit at det ikke ble en ufo av dette.

I like the colors, think they are nice for the summer, and it was perfect for my kitchen. And it is also nice with everything that don't become a UFO.

I helga fikk vi en liten forsmak på sommer. Ungene var nede i fjæra og lekte seg. Hunden vår måtte jo også få delta, og det resulterte i mange dykk for å få tak i pinner som ble kastet uti.

In the weekend we got a little taste of summer. The kids were down by the sea and had a nice time. Our dog wanted som much to participate, and he got many jumps in the sea to pick up all the sticks that the children trew down to him.


Tomorrow we start our summer holiday. I hope you all will have a good time this summer.
